These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Caribico platform, including the mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
Caribico is a service operated by Tropicab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Caribico, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
Caribico is a multi-service marketplace that connects users with independent vendors, service providers, delivery partners, and rental providers. Services offered through the Platform may include, but are not limited to:
Food delivery from restaurants
Grocery shopping
Pharmacy orders (including prescription uploads)
eCommerce shopping
Car rentals
Parcel and document delivery
Caribico does not own, operate, or control third-party vendors or providers unless explicitly stated.
To use Caribico, you must:
Be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent where permitted
Provide accurate, complete, and current information
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
By creating an account and using Caribico, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages, phone calls, and electronic communications from Caribico and Tropicab for purposes including but not limited to:
Account registration and verification
Order confirmations and updates
Delivery status notifications
Security alerts
Customer support communications
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
You acknowledge that SMS notifications are an essential part of the service, and you agree that opting out may limit or prevent your ability to use certain features of the Platform.
Caribico currently supports card-based payments and in-app wallet payments only. Cash payments are not accepted unless explicitly stated otherwise within the Platform.
By using Caribico, you acknowledge and agree that:
All applicable charges must be paid through approved electronic payment methods
Payment information is processed through third-party payment processors
Caribico does not store full payment card details
Your total charge may include:
Product or service cost
Vendor commission (where applicable)
Platform service fee (percentage-based)
Delivery or rental fees
Applicable taxes
All fees are displayed before order confirmation.
Once an order is placed and accepted, it may not be cancellable depending on the vendor’s fulfillment status.
Refund eligibility depends on:
Vendor policies
Item type (especially pharmacy and perishable goods)
Timing of the request
Reason for the refund
Prescription medications may not be refundable once dispensed, except as required by law.
Refunds may be issued:
To the original payment method, or
As in-app credits, at Caribico’s discretion
Caribico operates as a marketplace platform connecting customers, vendors, and independent delivery drivers. Delivery services are provided by independent drivers and are separate from the sale of goods or services offered by vendors.
By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
Delivery fees are charged for delivery services rendered by independent drivers.
Delivery fees are non-refundable once a delivery has been completed or attempted.
If an item refund is approved in accordance with Caribico’s Refund Policy:
The refund applies only to the item(s) purchased.
The vendor is responsible for the refunded item amount.
Any applicable platform service fee may be returned to the customer.
Caribico is not responsible for refunding delivery fees once delivery services have been fulfilled.
These terms apply to all orders placed on the platform, regardless of vendor category or service type.
Vendors and service providers on Caribico are independent businesses. Caribico:
Does not manufacture, prepare, or inspect goods
Does not guarantee product quality or availability
Is not responsible for vendor pricing decisions
Disputes should first be raised with the vendor. If unresolved, Caribico will review the matter and make a final determination in accordance with platform policies.
Delivery partners are independent contractors. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by traffic, weather, vendor readiness, or other factors.
Caribico is not responsible for delays beyond its reasonable control.
Car rental providers set their own requirements, pricing, and eligibility criteria. Additional documentation, deposits, or agreements may be required by the rental provider at pickup.
Caribico is not responsible for vehicle condition, insurance coverage, or disputes arising from rental use.
You agree not to:
Provide false or misleading information
Place fraudulent or test orders
Abuse promotions, refunds, or support channels
Interfere with platform operations
Harass vendors, drivers, or staff
Caribico reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
Caribico may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:
Fraudulent activity is suspected
Payment disputes or chargebacks occur
Platform policies are violated
Continued use poses operational or legal risk
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caribico and Tropicab shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Losses caused by third-party vendors
Delays or service interruptions
Product defects or vendor errors
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
Your use of Caribico is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.
Caribico may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of St. Lucia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

These Vendor Terms and Conditions (“Vendor Terms”) govern the participation of merchants, pharmacies, stores, restaurants, rental providers, and sellers (“Vendors”) on the Caribico platform, a service operated by Tropicab.
By registering as a Vendor on Caribico, you agree to be bound by these Vendor Terms, the general Caribico Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
Vendors operating on Caribico are independent businesses. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship between Caribico (or Tropicab) and any Vendor.
Vendors are solely responsible for:
Their business operations
Product sourcing, quality, and legality
Pricing, availability, and fulfillment
Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Vendors must:
Provide accurate and complete business information
Maintain up-to-date contact details
Ensure authorized individuals manage the account
Caribico reserves the right to:
Approve or reject vendor applications
Request verification documents at any time
Suspend or remove vendors who provide false or misleading information
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that:
Listings are accurate, complete, and not misleading
Products are lawful and safe for sale
Pharmacy items comply with applicable health regulations
Prescription uploads are handled confidentially and lawfully
Caribico does not inspect, manufacture, or guarantee vendor products.
Vendors may choose between:
Commission-based pricing, or
Subscription-based pricing with reduced commission
The applicable commission, subscription fees, and service fees are set within the platform and may change with notice.
All transactions are card-only or wallet-based unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Vendors acknowledge that:
Payments are processed by third-party processors
Platform service fees may apply to customer transactions
Caribico deducts applicable commissions and fees before vendor payouts
Vendors must:
Fulfill accepted orders promptly
Mark items unavailable if out of stock
Communicate delays through the platform
Excessive cancellations, delays, or fulfillment failures may result in:
Reduced visibility
Temporary suspension
Permanent removal from the platform
Refunds are governed by the Caribico Refund Policy.
Vendors agree to:
Cooperate with refund investigations
Accept Caribico’s final determination where applicable
Comply with non-refundable item rules (especially pharmacy and perishable goods)
To ensure proper handling of refunds and protect all parties on the platform, Caribico enforces the following rules regarding vendor withdrawals:
Vendor funds are not automatically disbursed after any refund window and must be manually requested by the vendor.
If a refund request is submitted for an order, Caribico may temporarily restrict vendor withdrawals while the refund is under review.
During an active refund review:
Any pending withdrawal requests may be denied, and
Vendors should not submit new withdrawal requests until the review is completed.
These temporary restrictions ensure sufficient funds remain available should a refund be approved.
Once the refund review is finalized, vendors may submit a new withdrawal request for any remaining available balance.
Caribico reserves the right to manage, delay, deny, or restrict withdrawal requests as necessary to process refunds, resolve disputes, and maintain platform integrity.
Vendors consent to receive:
SMS notifications
Emails
Platform messages
For order alerts, account updates, verification, and support communication.
Message and data rates may apply.
Vendors may not:
Manipulate pricing or availability dishonestly
Circumvent platform fees
Conduct off-platform transactions initiated through Caribico
Abuse refund or dispute processes
Misuse customer data
Caribico reserves the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:
Fraud or suspected fraud
Repeated customer complaints
Policy violations
Legal or reputational risk
Caribico and Tropicab are not liable for:
Vendor losses
Lost profits
Inventory issues
Customer dissatisfaction arising from vendor operations

These Driver Terms govern individuals who perform delivery or transport services through Caribico (“Drivers” or “Delivery Partners”).
Drivers operate as independent contractors and are not employees of Caribico or Tropicab.
Drivers acknowledge that:
They are not employees or agents
They control their availability and acceptance of deliveries
They are responsible for taxes, insurance, and licensing
Drivers must:
Provide accurate personal and vehicle information
Maintain valid identification and licenses where required
Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant
Caribico may conduct checks or request documents at any time.
Drivers agree to:
Complete accepted deliveries promptly
Handle items carefully
Follow pickup and drop-off instructions
Maintain professional conduct with customers and vendors
Failure to meet service standards may result in suspension or removal.
Drivers are paid per delivery based on:
Distance
Service type
Platform-defined rates
Drivers acknowledge:
Earnings are paid through approved electronic methods
No cash handling is required unless explicitly enabled
Drivers may not:
Accept deliveries with no intent to complete them
Repeatedly cancel after acceptance
Request off-platform payments
Abuse of the system may result in penalties or termination.
Drivers consent to receive SMS messages and app notifications related to:
Delivery requests
Order updates
Account status
Security alerts
SMS communication is an essential part of the service.
Drivers are responsible for:
Safe operation of vehicles
Compliance with traffic laws
Personal insurance coverage
Caribico is not responsible for:
Accidents
Vehicle damage
Personal injury
Third-party claims
Drivers may access limited customer data solely to complete deliveries.
Use of this data for any other purpose is strictly prohibited and governed by the Privacy Policy.
Driver accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
Fraudulent activity
Repeated complaints
Unsafe behavior
Policy violations
Caribico and Tropicab are not liable for:
Lost earnings
Delays caused by vendors or customers
Platform outages
Third-party disputes
