Caribico was built from experience, trust, and listening.

Caribico is a service by Tropicab, a platform trusted by thousands of people across St. Lucia. Through Tropicab, we saw firsthand how our customers used delivery services in ways the platform was never designed to handle. People needed more than rides. They needed groceries, pharmacy items, food, parcels, and everyday essentials delivered reliably.

Tropicab worked — but it wasn’t built for that purpose.

So we took a step back.

Our first attempt to solve this was TropX. We built it based on what we thought people needed. We believed we understood the problem well enough to design the solution on our own. But we learned a hard and important lesson: building for people is not the same as building with people.

We went back to the drawing board.

Caribico was created by listening — to customers, vendors, drivers, and everyday people who simply wanted things to work without complication. The result is a platform that is simple, practical, and designed around real needs, not assumptions.

Caribico brings essential services together in one place: food delivery, grocery shopping, pharmacy orders, car rentals, eCommerce shopping, and parcel delivery. It’s built to support local businesses, create opportunities for service providers, and give customers a reliable experience they can trust.
